Summer Learning Journey: Day 4 BONUS ACTIVITY

Today I did the bonus activity for day 4 of the Summer Learning Journey. For this activity, we needed to listen to 3 performances, and rate them from best to worst. Now, all of these performances were good, but this is only my opinion.

1. Te Puku o Te Ika Because this one in my opinion was all in sync, and had a nice tune to it.

2. Tamatea Arikinui Because this one had a good sync to it, but not as much.

3. Te Iti Kahurangi Because this one added a lot of suspense, but that wasn't enough to change where I would put this.

  1. Hi Jack

My name is Cadence and I am part of the Summer Learning Journey team, I will be working with your cluster this summer.

Ka pai on completing another activity! I like how you have ordered the groups by numbers and written the name, it makes it easy to follow. Well done!

Would you be able to tell me a little bit more about why you gave each group that number? I reckon they were all great at being in time with everyone else around them, especially with some many people in the group. It must have taken hours of practice to perfect their performance.

For number 3, could you tell me what was held in suspense? Maybe their actions or the chorus of the song?

    Keep up the great work!

    Cadence :)

  2. Hello Jack
Well done on completing this summer learning journey activity. I also think Te Puku o Te Ika is the best out of the three songs but Tamatea Arikinui and Te Iti Kahurangi are also pretty good. Keep up the awesome work Jack.
