Today, we got an amazing opportunity. We were kindly given the chance to visit the local fire station, for fire fighters to teach us about what they do. It was a lot of fun, and the experience was breathtaking when we saw how far the hose can blast water. We were also shown that there are 3 compartments at the back on each side, and they hold all the needed tools and devices that allow them to proceed further into fires, and let them communicate to each other. The best part had to be when we were sprayed by misty water that didn't get us too wet. This was just as awesome as it was when part of the Auckland Police Team came to our school last week. I really do hope we next get a visit from the ambulance to finish this all off.
