For the second activity of day 2 for the Winter Learning Journey, I learnt about a girl named Laura Dekker who sailed around the entire world. So what I was told to do for this activity was to think of 5 question I would ask if I could meet Laura Dekker. There was a video we could watch about Laura Dekker, but I decided to have fun and do the activity with no information about her except for what she did.
Question 1: What risks came from you sailing around the entire world?
Question 2: Did you have any way to communicate to other people?
Question 3: How long did this trip take?
Question 4: What food and drink did you have on your boat?
Question 5: Were you sick when you finished your trip?
Hi Jack
ReplyDeleteI like you fourth question the most (What food and drink did you have on your boat?). I never thought about that - it's a really good question. It's not like she could bring things like milk and bread with her because they will expire. Well done.

Hi Jack. I think you have done a great job completing this Winter Learning Journey activity. The questions you have asked are great. The question I would like to ask most from your list is probably the last one, because a lot of people get sick after a long trip/journey. Keep up the amazing work.
ReplyDeleteHi Jack
ReplyDeleteNice questions! I like how you asked about things like what she ate on the boat. Do you think that you could do what she did one day?
Great work
Hello Jack, Great questions. I really like question one and question four. It is interesting because I am also not sure what she could of ate and drank while she was sailing. Keep up the great work Jack.
