KiwiCan: Week 3
Yesterday, we had our week 3 session of KiwiCan. This week, we learnt about active listening, and our topic and theme this term is Positive Communication, and Positive Relationships. Our activity, was a game called Chop Suey Salute. For this game, you have to listen to the caller, and he or she will call either 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. Each number corresponding to a different action. 1 was a single punch, 2 was 2. 3 was two punches and a kick. 4 was both hands together, and a push. And 5 was an uppercut. You would compete against someone for this game, and whoever was faster would win the round. You needed to win 2 rounds to win, and the winner would stay for the challenger to compete against. The best player in our class was Julian, and we even had a champion from Learning Space 1 come in to compete. We had a lot of fun yesterday, and want to play more games like Chop Suey Salute next time.
