Hi Jack!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Summer Learning Journey. It's great to see that you have chosen to join us:)
I am thrilled that you've chosen Canada for the journey because it is my home country. It's a pretty special place!
I was actually just Skyping with my mom and she was telling me that it is currently -20 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada today. Can you imagine?! It is sooooo cold.
I hope that you will continue with this summer learning journey and, if you do, you'll want to keep in mind that it is very cold when you're deciding what to pack on Day 3. You will be asked to make a list of 10 items to put into your suitcase and you'll need to remember to bring your hat, mitts, scarf and boots. You may also want to pack a few jerseys as well!
I'm looking forward to blogging with you as your journey continues. I'll check back in tomorrow to see if you're onto Day 2 (or even Day 3) by then!
Wishing you a very nice, sunny and warm day,
Rachel
Hi Jack. I was really interested to read that Canada is the second largest country in the world! It made me think about what the largest country is... Do you know? Looking forward to reading your next posts. Suzanne
ReplyDeleteHi Jack,
ReplyDeleteThis is a friendly reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday 26 January) is the final day of the Summer Learning Journey. If you're keen to earn more points and be in to win cool prizes please log onto the Summer Learning Journey site, complete any of the 14 days' worth of activities and post a blog.
I'll check back in tomorrow to see if you've posted anything new. I hope that you're able to re-join our journey before it comes to an end!
Cheers,
Rachel
Kia ora Jack☺
ReplyDeleteThe Summer Learning Journey programme has now come to an end. Thank you so much for being involved this summer!
Over the next few months I plan to review the programme. As part of the review process I am hoping to gather feedback from participants, just like you! To tell me what you think please log onto the Summer Learning Journey website and click on the ‘Feedback’ tab. It will take you to a short online form. Can you please fill it out? It should only take about 5 minutes. I’d love to hear what you think!
I will also be coming into your school in a few weeks to hand out participation certificates. I am really looking forward to seeing you then!
Thanks again for joining our Summer Learning Journey this year. I really hope that you join our holiday blogging programme again next summer.
Cheers!
Rachel
