Today I completed the second activity for day 3 of week 1 of the Summer Learning Journey. For this activity we had to find three pros and cons (Positive and Negative) things about being a DOC Ranger. This challenge was quite hard as you couldn't find all of the pros and cons that you needed, so you would have to imagine yourself in the scenario that you are a DOC Ranger, and think of what you would do.
Kia Ora Jack,
ReplyDeleteI’m Dani a blog commenter for the Summer Learning Journey. I normally spend my time in the Kaikohekohe cluster but we thought it for be a great idea for me to come and check out the awesome blog posts in the Manaiakalani cluster.
You have crafted an awesome list of pros and cons for being a DoC Ranger. I think it would be an awesome experience learning about the different native animals in our beautiful country. We are very lucky here in New Zealand not to have any dangerous animals here. Whereas in Australia it would be a very different question! I would enjoy being a DoC Ranger because I would love exploring New Zealand as well as helping out!
Blog ya later!
Dani
Hello Jack! I think this is a very kind act for people to be taking their time to be helping wildlife. I was very interested in reading your Pros and Cons of this job since I chose that it wouldn't be fitting for me to be apart of. In the end would you or would you not rather be a DOC Ranger? Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteHi Jack,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on completing this activity! I liked how you said that a great thing about being a DOC ranger is the chance to learn all kinds of different things about the animals with you. I also liked how you said that another good thing about being a DOC ranger is being able to help the animals in need. Do you think anyone else in your family might want to become a DOC ranger?
