Winter Learning Journey: Day 4 | BONUS ACTIVITY

For the bonus activity of day 4 for the Winter Learning Journey, we had to make our opinion whether we think fishing in Farewell Spit should be banned. I think it shouldn't unless people are using nets, killing fish without eating them, and only catching about 12 a month maximum.

  1. Hi Jack. You have formed a great opinion. I think people should be banned fishing there because Hector Dolphins could become extinct, because they are only found in New Zealand. Keep up the amazing work.

  2. Hello Jack
Good job on this activity. I have a slightly different opinion from you. I think fishing should be banned because the Hector's dolphins could become extinct. Well done.

  3. Hi Jack
I also think it shouldn't but people should take more care on what they catch. Do you think that the dolphins know the danger of being stuck in nets?
    Great work

  4. Hello Jack, you have given some great reasons why you think people fishing at Farewell Spit shouldn't be banned. However I disagree because lots of Hector's Dolphins are dying and people can go and fish somewhere else where they are not harming them. You have done an outstanding job.
